Today, as we remember Jesus’s triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, let’s talk about the word HOSANNA.
Originally in Hebrew, Hosanna meant “save us please!”. A cry for help in Psalm 118:25. Over time- a shift happened. It switched from a cry for help to a GREAT exclamation of praise. From “save us please” -> “salvation has COME!”
Today in your life, sing and remember the word Hosanna. “Jesus is here- Hosanna in the highest- salvation has come!” For you, for me, for all. Remember what He brings to you, and offers to you. That is worthy of the highest praise.
