Beautiful Bibles

This beautiful ESV Journaling Bible is named Lisse, inspired by the rolling tulip fields of Lisse, Netherlands. This vibrant landscape communicates two things: first, the joy and richness of the love of God and his care for us. We used Psalm 126:3 to capture this declaration: “He has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” And second, God’s offer to us from Psalm 46:10, to “Be still, and know that [He] is God.” This Bible will serve as a reminder of the goodness of God, and the rest and joy we can celebrate in Him.

It’s near impossible to step into the water, look out as far as your eye can see, and not think “How Great Thou Art.” The vastness of the ocean is overwhelming—it reminds us just how small we are, and just how powerful, beautiful, and big our Creator is. On the back cover, words from Psalm 18:16 fit all too well: “He reached down from on high and took hold of me.
