+ What versions are your Bibles?
All of our Bibles are the English Standard Version (ESV)
+ Can I send you my Bible to paint?
Unfortunately, we only sell the Bibles we have on hand, and do not accept send-in Bibles. Without knowing what kind of cover our artist will be working with, we can’t trust and promote the integrity of our product. We have found from experience that most Bibles do not accept paint well. We don’t want to accept an order if we can’t promise that the painted Bible will not chip, wear, or fall apart. We have fine-tuned our processes to make sure that the Bibles we sell will withstand wear and tear and remain beautiful.
+ What is your refund and return policy?
Generally, our return policy states that anything undamaged and unopened can be returned and refunded if requested within 15 days of receipt. Orders that have not yet shipped can be canceled and refunded; just send us an email. Read our full return policy here.
+ When will Tuscany, London, and Barcelona Bibles be back in stock?
These three Bible themes are being discontinued as we prepare for the launch of our new 2018 Bible line. They are currently sold nationally at various retail stores. Check out our list of retailers and give one of them a call to see if they have one in stock near you!
+ How long will it take to receive my order?
This answer varies depending on what you order, whether the product is custom or not, and your distance from Cincinnati, Ohio. Here’s a general estimate on our order deliveries:
- Stickers (2-7 Business Days)
- Painted Journals (Finished: 2-6 Business Days) (Semi-custom: 8-14 Business Days)
- Beautiful Bibles (Printed: 2-6 Business Days)
- Hand-Painted Bibles (One month after ordering)

+ Do you ship internationally?
We do ship internationally! Shipments typically arrive 10-14 days after you order.
+ How can I care for my painted Bible?
Our painted Bibles are sealed- the paint is protected and will not rub, wipe, or chip off. We simply suggest taking care of it like you would care for anything that is important to you.
+ What pen should I use to write in my Bible?

+ Are stickers waterproof?
Yes, Stickers are made from a highly durable transparent vinyl with a matte finish. Our stickers are 3 millimeters thick. They will do just fine on the back of your car or on your water bottle.
+ When is the next fully custom restock?
We take orders for fully custom Bibles once a month. A countdown to the next restock date and time can always be found on our custom restock page.
+ I had a Bible in my cart, but it wouldn’t let me check out. Why doesn’t my cart “save” my Bible?
Because the demand for our products on restock nights is so high, many customers are adding the items to their carts at the exact same time. Our website will sell the product to the first person to complete the checkout process. Unfortunately, this means that only adding the item do your cart does not secure the purchase.
+ Do you design fully-custom journals?
At this time, we do not offer fully custom journals. We do accept semi-custom journal orders on Monday nights at 8pm EST. You can read more about semi-custom journals here.
+ What is the difference between fully custom and semi-custom?
Fully custom means “blank canvas”. From start to finish, you will work with our artist Katie to design your Bible.
Semi-custom means the Bible or journal is painted, but does not yet have words added to it. After you purchase, you will submit the request for the words on your item.
+ How do I tell you what I want on my Bible?
After you purchase a semi-custom Bible or journal, you can reply to the order confirmation email that is automatically sent to you. (It is a no-reply email, but don’t worry, we still get them!)
After you purchase a fully custom Bible, look for an email from our artist Katie within 24 hours detailing the Bible design process. You will then communicate directly with Katie to create your Bible.
+ What can I be thinking about before I submit my request?
- Text options: cursive, print, or a combination of the two.
- Text color options: gold, white, or black.
- On semi-custom Bibles, 3-14 words will look best. You can request more, but depending on design, and font style, the artwork might look more cramped.
- On semi-custom journals, the back side of your journal will remain blank. We suggest choosing 3-16 words for the front side.
- For fully custom Bibles, be thinking about text options, a verse for the front and back (1-14 words on each side will look best), and what words, initials or name you want on the spine. Be gathering screenshots of Hosanna Revival Bibles you’ve loved in the past, and photos of your favorite colors, flowers, or places.
+ How long will it take to receive my Bible?
Provided that you submit your requests within one week of purchase, your semi custom Bible or journal will ship 8 days after you place your order.
Our estimated ship date for your fully custom Bible is one month from your purchase date. This time frame will not be exact, and might fluctuate due to the nature of your design requests. Your estimated ship date will be communicated as you work on designing your Bible.
