About the Design
This jewel-toned design was inspired by the beautiful contrast between the stunning rose garden in the “parque retiro” and the white buildings along the streets of Madrid, Spain. The rose garden was added to the “parque retiro” by a former mayor and now boasts of over 4,000 roses. The breathtaking architecture in Madrid is home to a rich artistic culture and many famous pieces of art. The design marries the beauty of these elements together to create an immersive artistic experience. The back of the Bible features Luke 1:78-79, a reminder of God’s tender mercy and light. The boldness of the flowers arrayed against the light background are a reminder of the tenderness of our God who so carefully adorns the flowers and gives light to those who are in darkness. We pray that this Bible-notebook bundle will be just that—a light to those who sit in darkness that they might be guided to a path of peace!
