Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Compensation: $24 - $27 an hour, based on experience
Start Date: Approximately November 2, 2026
Reports To: Christine Hendrickson, Finance & HR Manager

We're looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized bookkeeper to take ownership of key parts of our financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You'll keep our books clean, accurate, and on schedule, which directly supports how we make decisions across the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent the Hosanna Revival brand and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Categorize all business transactions accurately and consistently in QuickBooks, ensuring each one is coded to the correct account.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as needed to record adjustments, accruals, and corrections.
  • Collect, organize, and match receipts and supporting documentation to transactions, following up with team members when items are missing.
  • Request, collect, and maintain current W-9 forms for every vendor and contractor before payment is issued.
  • Track payments to 1099-eligible vendors and contractors throughout the year so that year-end 1099 reporting is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare vendor bills and schedule them for payment according to due dates and cash priorities. Final payment approval and release will remain with company leadership.
  • Complete month-end reconciliations of bank, credit card, and merchant accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies so the books close on time.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • You enjoy detailed, task-oriented work and take pride in getting things exactly right.
  • A strong commitment to meeting timelines and deadlines, especially during month-end close.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to follow up with coworkers and vendors until an item is resolved.
