I have tried using alcohol ink markers in my sketchbook and have found that the pages are a little thin for them. The markers bleeds through to the next page and on the back. So when I do use my markers, I’ll put a sheet of computer paper behind the page I’m using so it doesn’t bleed through to the next. The pen I use is also slightly visible on the back of the page. I haven’t tried watercolor in it yet, but I think the page may buckle a little due to its weight. But it really is perfect for pencil drawings.

I am loving this sketchbook! It is so beautiful that it’s really motivating me to fill it, and it will be lovely to have on the coffee table when it’s done. I also love that it has been wonderful for multiple mediums (so far I’ve used graphite, colored pencils, charcoal, inks, and pastels). It seems like it would hold up to paints just as well. I’m buying a couple more to have on hand once this one is filled. I just love the Hosanna Revival aesthetic so much - so happy that they are making sketchbooks as well!
