The inspiration for this beautiful leather-like Bible comes from the beautiful city of Aurora, Colorado, nicknamed “The Gateway to the Rockies.” Aurora is surrounded by large meadows filled with gorgeous flowers with the Rocky Mountains looming large in the background. The front cover of our very first leather-like ESV Study Bible features pressed floral artwork, and the back cover displays Joshua 1:8, which says, “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night.”

For many years, the ESV Study Bible has been a priceless resource for people all over the world. Nearly a hundred individuals from nine different countries contributed to this incredible work, and the result is nothing less than amazing. With beautiful full-color maps, charts, articles and more, this study Bible has been designed to help you understand the Bible in a deeper way, and to help you hear and know God as he has revealed himself to us in the Scriptures.

In the fall of 2019, we launched the beautiful Hollis ESV Journaling Bible®, inspired by crisp fall air, warm flower bouquets, and the colors of Hollis, New Hampshire.
