I wanted something that could be not only beautiful on the outside but aaalso has some study features & journaling space and this is just perfect. I got this to replace my Yorkshire design that the foiling was coming off a little bit because I just love that its a in the "compact bible 5x7 category" - perfect for travel or on the go study.
I was pleasantly surprised that this ESV Journaling format includes:
+ Book Introductions (in the back)
If I could change anything - it would have been THE PERFECT package if it has red letters in my opinion (Hosanna, please make a red letter?). The font is smaller and more "thin line" esque than comparable bibles but I am ok with that for the trade off of the compact/notetaking combo.
All in all, with the ESV translation, compact size, BONUS STUDY FEATURES, beautiful design that makes me want to open it every day, and notetaking space - I'm looking forward to making this my journaling bible for "absorbing reading" alongside my more in depth study bible and then eventually handing it down to my daughter.
This will be my companion for my *full bible in a year* goals and so excited about.

I love the cover and note taking space. It does what it promises. Just be aware that the text is quite small if that's something you don't like.

I was very excited to receive my order, but I was underwhelmed. This is a small size Bible and I think they should label it as a compact size. When it’s not on discount, It’s the same price as the note-taking Bible, but much smaller font, and the actual size of the Bible is much smaller. I thought they were going to be the same size. I missed the warning about how small the font is, but never would’ve thought the actual Bible would be small, too. I didnt realize it’s final sale, So now I’m stuck with it. I wish they would at least offer us to be able to exchange because having a Bible that you like very important.

This bible has a beautiful design but the letters are SO small that I can’t read, if you have eye problems like me go for a bigger size. I purchased it on final sale (without knowing) and now they won’t accept my return, it’s just very disappointing. I won’t purchase from this website again.

I like the smaller size! It’s great for carrying around!
I would love if Jesus’ words were in red though.

This beautifully crafted journal bible is a special gift for someone new to faith. I’m interested in purchasing a compact version to bring to church as well.
